Saints

I painted these saints back in college and posted up the process a little while ago (see it here). Well I finally got frames built for them and they look amazing! If you look back at my previous post about them you can see they were all painted on a single board that I found behind a shop near my apartment. I had a lot of different crazy ideas about what to do to fill the space around them, but most of them were just too crazy. I already got an offer on one of them, but honestly, I just cant part with them just yet...

Mt. Hood

This piece was painted after a picture of Mt. Hood and was commissioned by Alana Mayer for her husband Jason. He had loved the piece I had done earlier entitled Life is Beautiful, so we decided to base it off of that. Though in the same style, the mountain is all acrylic paint (no inks). You may also recognize the mountain from an earlier piece painted from the same picture (as seen in this post: Mountains). I also built the framing around it using good ol' fashioned wood and nails. Acrylic and Oil on Newspaper. 24" x 30"
